Length: 40 minutes

Marilyn Charles, PhD, ABPP; Jill Clemence, PhD; Joanne Greenberg, DHL

This roundtable begins with data from the study conducted at the Austen Riggs Center titled: Psychosis and Creativity:  Managing Cognitive Complexity on Unstructured Tasks, as a way of beginning the conversation.  In this study, we tried to better understand factors that may enable individuals with psychotic liabilities to better utilize their creative potential.  This theme is then taken up by Joanne Greenberg, a writer who discusses this topic from her own perspective as an artist.  (Be sure to listen to the very end after questions to hear Joanne Greenberg's commentary.)
